"Strategic Imperatives for Space and Cyberspace"

Welcome Back!

Welcome to the 5th Annual Space and Cyberspace Warfare Symposium. Hosted by the Captain Lance P. Sijan chapter of the Air Force Association, this year’s event expands its coverage of cyber topics in recognition of Air Force Space Command’s designation as lead command for cyber operations. It also addresses important space topics at the forefront of national discussions. If you can devote a day and a half of your time in beautiful Keystone, Colorado you will hear from thought leaders on topics ranging from diplomacy in Space and Cyberspace to integrating Air, Space and Cyberspace for the Joint Fight, to Schriever 2010 Wargame results . Panel discussions will be different than you are used to. At this symposium panel moderators will briefly introduce a topic allowing members of the panel the remainder of the time to answer your questions. The winners of the 2009 Operational Excellence Award will be recognized at lunch on June 9 and the General Jerome F. O’Malley awardee will be honored that evening at dinner. The symposium begins June 8th with a Golf Day at Keystone followed by an Icebreaker reception in the evening. The formal program begins the morning of June 9th and ends midday June 10th. The Enlisted Professional Development seminar will run concurrently with the symposium the afternoon of June 9th.

The Sijan chapter has organized another great event that will make the best use of your time with presentations by notable National, Defense, Industry and academia representatives. Knowing how important networking is to attendees, ample break time is provided to connect with new and current colleagues. We purposefully keep attendance to less than 500 to enhance opportunities for spending time with people important to you.

Through generous corporate sponsorships the chapter is able to keep the cost of this event at a very reasonable price, especially when you consider your registration fees cover a reception, all meals and symposium breaks in addition to the outstanding program of notable speakers and panel members. And then there is the unbeatable location! The Keystone Resort offers rooms starting at $125. Consider making this a work and vacation opportunity by staying an extra day or two and by bringing your family. The website has all the details. Check it out and register today.
